Kyuka Avong Ibrahim is at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture, and financial sector regulation. With over 15 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-powered systems inside Africa’s most critical financial institutions — including the Central Bank of Nigeria — he brings to this training the combination of technical depth, regulatory understanding, and institutional credibility that African banking leaders need to build sustainable AI capabilities. He has architected AI-embedded platforms that are operational at national scale: a multi-million blockchain and AI-powered eKYC utility integrating millions of identity records across diverse financial institutions; AI and business intelligence layers embedded within Nigeria’s national Digital Public Infrastructure serving millions of households; and machine-learning-assisted fraud detection, credit scoring, and AML systems within one of Africa’s most regulated financial environments. For the East African Bankers’ Committee, Kyuka facilitates for central bankers and board directors — translating AI strategy into governance frameworks, regulatory architecture, and practical institutional roadmaps that East African banks can actually implement.
