About eNESST

eNESST is a specialized capacity-building and advisory institution working with financial institutions, regulators, and professional associations across Sub-Saharan Africa. Our focus areas include risk management, ESG and climate finance, governance, financial markets, and institutional capacity development.

Position Summary

The Programs & Partnerships Manager will coordinate training programs, manage institutional relationships, support strategic partnerships, and ensure effective execution of capacity-building initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management & Implementation: Coordinate planning and delivery of training programs, workshops, and certification courses; manage schedules, logistics, and participant coordination; liaise with trainers and partners; prepare materials; monitor delivery and prepare post-training reports.
  • Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as key liaison with associations, banks, MFIs, regulators; maintain existing relationships; support new partnerships; coordinate joint initiatives with development partners.
  • Business Development Support: Identify new training/advisory opportunities; support proposals, concept notes, and partnership documents; track institutional pipeline and follow up on leads; support outreach.
  • Operational & Administrative Coordination: Oversee registration, invoicing coordination, and communications; track budgets and revenue; prepare monthly performance updates; coordinate between experts and clients.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience: 5–8 years relevant experience in financial sector programs, training coordination, consulting, or partnerships; experience with banks, MFIs, development partners, or professional associations; proven project/training program management experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial sector operations; excellent project management; strong stakeholder/relationship management; proposal/concept note preparation (advantage); strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attributes: Professional maturity, integrity, strategic thinking, ability to manage multiple priorities, willingness to travel within the region.

Training & Operations Intern

eNESST (Enterprise for Sustainability, Skills and Training)
Internship (3–6 months)
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Start Date: Immediate

Position Summary

The Training & Operations Intern will support coordination and execution of training programs, workshops, and certification courses. This role is ideal for an organized graduate interested in project management, training coordination, consulting, or financial sector capacity development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Program Coordination: Support planning and organization; coordinate registration and confirmations; maintain participant databases and attendance; assist with training materials; prepare certificates and evaluation forms.
  • Logistics & Event Support: Assist venue coordination and logistics; support virtual/physical setup; ensure smooth participant communication; coordinate with facilitators and speakers.
  • Administrative & Operational Support: Maintain organized records; assist with email/WhatsApp communication; support training reports/documentation; assist with invoicing coordination and tracking (where required).
  • Marketing & Communication Support (Basic): Support flyers/announcements; update mailing lists; assist with LinkedIn/email communication.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or final year student) in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics, Events Management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong organization; good communication; proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint; attention to detail; ability to multitask; professional attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Added Advantage: Interest in training/consulting/financial sector development; basic design skills (Canva); experience organizing events; familiarity with Zoom or virtual platforms.
